12th District lawmakers to hold town hall in Carnation
Sen. Keith Goehner and Reps. Mike Steele and Brian Burnett will hold a community town hall on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Miller’s, 4597 Tolt Ave., Carnation.
The event, supported by the City of Carnation, is open to the public and provides residents with an opportunity to reflect on the 2025 legislative session, review progress on key issues impacting the 12th District, and get a preview of upcoming legislation expected in 2026. Community members will also be able to ask questions, share feedback, and speak directly with their state lawmakers.
In a joint statement, the lawmakers emphasized the importance of the event:
“Every legislative session involves choices that directly affect the people of the 12th District. As we prepare for 2026, we want to hear what’s working, what’s not, and where the Legislature should focus its efforts. These conversations help us bring your voice to Olympia and ensure that the policies we pursue genuinely address the needs of our communities. We invite everyone to participate in this dialogue.”
